FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Once again, the Chi Scotsmen and the Delta Bulls faced off in the A and B league championships for flag football. In the B league game, Delta struck first with a quick touchdown within the first five minutes in the game. However, the Scotsmen responded with a touchdown of their own. Chi failed to complete the two-point conversion, which resulted in a halftime score of 6-6. Chi received the ball at the start of the second half but went three and out. Delta scored on their next possession and completed their two-point conversion. The Scots were never able to respond and the final score ended up being Chi 6 Delta 14.
The A league game was a whole different story. The Scots lead from beginning to end. The two stars of the game were seniors Corey Pless and Jared Ward. Pless ended up with 5 touchdown passes and no interceptions. Ward had 3 interceptions on defense and 2 touchdown catches on offense. Sophomore Blake Hughes and senior Ryne Wilson also had touchdown receptions. The final score of this game ended up being 35-7.
